RESERVATIONS/REVENUE MANAGER

The Reservations/Revenue Manager will be responsible for overseeing the Reservations team and maintaining high service standards. Key responsibilities include managing shift patterns, collaborating with other departments, and developing relationships with guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and process reservations received through various channels (phone, email, online booking systems)

  • Staff Training: Training new reservations staff, ensuring they understand company policies, procedures, and service standards.

  • Review reservations booked daily.

  • Review arrival report daily.

  • Exceed guest expectations and maintain brand standards

  • Manage OTAs

  • Identify Producing Accounts to ensure proper recognition by Reservation staff.

  •  Responsible for various Production reports and supplies to each department concerned.

  •  Ensure special handling of repeat guests and VIP guests.

  •  Monitors and coordinates group reservations activity with the Sales Department and Room Division Manager

  •  Follows up on tentative bookings and updates reservation status, daily file checks.

  •  Reviews no-show and cancelled reservations and processes charges according to the hotel’s policy

  • Escalate concerns to the Rooms Division Manager

  • Develop SOP's and P&P's for Reservations Services

  • Provide seamless service to guests and colleagues

  • In general, perform any other duties requested by the Room Division Manager and General Manager.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in hotel reservations management

  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Strong Knowledge in OTAs

  • Adaptability to changing market environments

  • Management experience in the travel sector                       

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
